Supreme Selective Naturals Woodland Loops – 80g

Woodland Loops are small rings built on ground Timothy hay and ground alfalfa hay, with dried dandelion and dried rosehip at 1% each — which Supreme give as equivalent to 7% of each once you account for drying. Crude fibre comes out at 14% and there are no added sugars.

The no-added-sugar part is what separates these from most small animal treats on a shelf. Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus all ferment their food in a hindgut that copes poorly with sugar, so a treat that leans on hay and herbs rather than syrup can be fed several times more often than a sweet one.

Performance & Benefits
  • No added sugars, which is the reason Supreme's feeding rate is 2–4 a day rather than one a week.
  • Crude fibre 14%, built on ground Timothy hay and ground alfalfa hay.
  • Dried dandelion and dried rosehip at 1% each, equivalent to 7% of each.
  • Concentrated radish and concentrated carrot in the composition.
  • Ring shape that can be scattered, hidden or threaded onto a forage toy.
  • 80g pack, designed to sit alongside the Selective food and hay range.
<>
Suitable For
  • Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus — the four species Supreme name.
  • Degus and chinchillas in particular, where sugary treats are a real problem.
  • Training, hand-taming and scatter feeding.
  • Daily use in small numbers, unlike most small animal treats.
  • Not a substitute for hay or a complete food — they are a complementary treat and nothing more.
<>
Feeding
  • Supreme's rate: 2–4 treats per day, depending on the size of your pet.
  • Feed as a complement to the regular diet, alongside unlimited hay and clean water.
  • Scatter them in bedding or hide them in a forage toy to make the animal work for them.
  • Reseal the pack and keep it dry.
