Organic Fusion is the fortified end of Thunderbrook's high-fibre range: certified organic alpine fibre with linseed, oat bran, herbs, flowers, fruit and vegetables, a patented organic prebiotic, and added vitamins and minerals on top. Thunderbrook aim it at horses and ponies with low to medium energy requirements.

Their analysis gives 10.5% crude protein, 4.5% crude fat and 27.4% crude fibre at 10.7 MJ/kg, with sugar (ESC) at 6.5% and starch at 4.6%. The organic control runs the whole way through — soil and seed, harvesting, processing and storage — with only the nutritional yeast and the added vitamins and minerals declared as permitted non-organic ingredients.

Feeding

• Thunderbrook's rate is 100g up to a maximum of 500g per 100kg bodyweight a day.
• Split across two or more feeds rather than one large bucket.
• Feed dry, dampened, or soaked into a mash.
• Introduce gradually over several days.
• Fresh water at all times.
