Weedol Gun! Rootkill Plus Ready-to-Use – 1 Litre
Rootkill Plus is Weedol's systemic weedkiller in a ready-mixed 1 litre trigger sprayer. The label declares 7.2 g/L glyphosate with 0.02 g/L pyraflufen-ethyl under MAPP 14554: the pyraflufen-ethyl burns the foliage off quickly, the glyphosate travels down and kills the root, which is why it deals with docks and couch rather than just scorching them.
Weedol give visible effects within 24 hours and full weed death in up to 28 days, with treated ground safe to replant seven days after spraying. It is a hard-surface and bare-ground product — paths, drives, gravel, fence lines, the base of established shrubs — and it is emphatically not a pasture spray.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Systemic: taken in through the leaf and carried to the root, so perennial weeds do not simply regrow.
- Two actives — 7.2 g/L glyphosate for root kill, 0.02 g/L pyraflufen-ethyl for fast top-kill.
- Visible effect within 24 hours; complete weed death may take up to 28 days, longer in cold weather.
- Ready mixed in a 1 litre trigger bottle — no dilution, no measuring, no separate sprayer.
- Adjustable nozzle gives a narrow jet for spot treatment or a wider fan for larger patches.
- Treated ground can be replanted seven days after spraying.
Suitable For
- Gravel, paths, drives, patios and fence lines.
- Around sheds, greenhouses, water troughs standing on hardcore, and yard edges.
- Ground clearance before digging or planting, and killing off an old lawn.
- Under hedges and at the base of established roses, ornamental shrubs and trees.
- Never for use on grazing, hay or haylage ground, or on any crop grown for animal feed. For weeds in grassland, use a product approved for pasture and observe its grazing interval.
How to Use
- Shake well, then twist the nozzle to the spray position.
- Use between April and November, while the weeds are green and actively growing.
- Spray only on dry, calm days. Hold the head about 50cm from the weed and wet the leaves to run-off.
- Weedol's guide times are about 9 seconds per square metre on annual weeds, 10 on perennials and 12 on brush weeds.
- Leave at least seven days before replanting or sowing treated ground.
- Store the bottle upright, out of reach of children, away from feed, bedding and medicines.

Care & Caution
- This is a glyphosate weedkiller. Keep children and pets off treated ground until the spray has dried completely.
- Do not use it anywhere horses, ponies, sheep, cattle or poultry graze, and do not spray field margins where clippings or cut weeds could be eaten.
- Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Direct the spray away from ponds, ditches, streams and field drains, and never rinse equipment where washings can reach water.
- Keep off skin, do not breathe the spray, and wash hands and exposed skin after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke while spraying.
- Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Store the bottle in its original container, out of reach of children, and never decant it.
- Spray drift kills what you want to keep. Shield nearby plants and do not spray in wind.
