Kiln-dried, dust-extracted shavings for stables. The two processes do different jobs: kiln drying removes the moisture that allows fungal growth in the bale, and dust extraction removes the fine particles that irritate airways.

Both matter because respiratory disease is one of the most common problems in stabled horses, and bedding is one of the two main sources of the dust behind it — the other being hay. The timber is responsibly sourced from sustainable forests in Scandinavia, Northern Europe and the Baltic States.

How to Use

• Spread evenly to a good depth, banking the sides for a horse that lies close to the walls.
• Remove droppings and wet patches daily.

Care & Caution
