Hi vis orange holds up better than most colours against a green hedge and grey tarmac, and this band puts it round the shell of the riding hat where a driver's eye lands first. A reflective strip runs the width of the band, so it earns its keep in daylight and again when headlights find it.

It is one size. The sides are elasticated and there is silicone on the inner face to stop the band travelling up the hat as you rise and sit. A reflective Woof Wear badge on the front adds a return from the side, which is the angle that matters on a bend.

How to Use

• Pull the band over the hat shell so the reflective strip sits round the widest part.
• Route it clear of the harness, retention strap, vents and any hat fittings.
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry naturally.
