This is the horse's hi vis rather than the rider's. The band fastens round the base of the neck, in front of the withers, so what an oncoming driver picks up is the whole animal and not only the person sitting on top of it. Adjustable straps set the length and a girth loop anchors it so it cannot travel forward towards the poll.

Lime is the brightest colour in the hi vis range. How to Use

• Fasten the band round the base of the neck in front of the withers, and set the straps so it lies flat without pinching.
• Run the girth loop down to the girth so the band cannot travel forward.
• Brush the neck and the band down before fitting — grit trapped under a strap will rub.
• Check nothing is trapped under a rein, martingale or breastplate before you set off.
• Wipe clean only, with a damp cloth, and dry naturally.
