Fifty centimetres, a slim textured rubber grip and a foam strike area: Woof Wear's Junior Jump Bat is a proper jumping bat scaled down for a child's hand rather than a shortened adult one. The grip is the part that matters — a small hand cannot hold a full-size TPR grip securely.

How to Use

• Hold the grip with the padded strike area facing outwards, away from the rein, so the pad and not the shaft makes contact.
• Use it on the approach or after landing, never in the air. Ask with the leg first and use the bat once to confirm.
• Move it to the other hand across the withers when you change direction, rather than reaching over the neck.
• Woof Wear's care instruction is wipe clean only. Wipe the grip and shaft with a damp cloth and dry it; do not soak the foam pad.
• Store it hanging or lying flat, with nothing resting on the strike pad.

Care & Caution

• The padded strike area is the only part of the bat meant to touch the horse. Never strike with the shaft or the end cap.
