Woof Wear Summer Yard Glove – Grey, Size Medium
Most yard gloves fail in summer for the same reason: they trap sweat until the liner turns clammy and you take them off. Woof Wear get round that by dipping only the palm — latex and nitrile, doubled up for grip and wear — and leaving the back of the hand bare knit, so heat and moisture escape through the top of the glove.
Medium is the everyday adult size in this style. The polyester liner is stretchy and thin, which keeps the fit close and means you can still feel a spring clip or a splinter through the fingertips. What it will not do is keep you warm or keep you dry.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Double latex and nitrile palm coating for grip on wet or greasy surfaces.
- Breathable undipped back, which is why hands stay cool through long jobs.
- Stretchy polyester liner for a snug fit with usable dexterity.
- Abrasion resistant where it matters, over the palm and finger pads.
- Low enough in price to keep a spare pair in the feed room.
Suitable For
- Warm-weather yard work: skipping out, sweeping, hedging and fence repairs.
- Handling rough rope, wire and timber.
- Average adult hands.
- Riders who overheat in a lined glove.
- Wrong for cold or wet conditions — the Woof Wear Winter Yard Glove is the insulated version and the Woof Wear All Season Waterproof Yard Glove the waterproof one.
How to Use
- Buy your usual work-glove size; the thin liner does not eat into the fit.
- Rinse the palm off after mucky work and hang to dry naturally.
- Avoid drying on direct heat, which stiffens the latex layer.
- Replace once the coating cracks; grip falls off sharply at that point.
