Woof Wear Summer Yard Glove – Grey, Extra Large
Extra Large is the top of this range and suits a broad hand or long fingers. Woof Wear keep the construction simple: a stretchy polyester liner, a palm dipped twice in latex and nitrile for grip and abrasion resistance, and no coating at all on the back so the glove can breathe.
That makes it a hot-weather working glove and nothing else. There is no thermal lining, and because the back of the hand is bare knit it is not waterproof either — water comes through the top even though the palm sheds it. Judged as what it is, it is a lot of grip for very little money.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Double latex and nitrile palm coating for reliable grip in the wet.
- Breathable undipped back keeps hands cool through long summer jobs.
- Stretchy liner gives a snug fit across a larger hand without bunching.
- Hard-wearing across the palm and finger pads.
- Extra Large is the largest Woof Wear make this style.
Suitable For
- Warm-weather mucking out, sweeping and muck heap work.
- Fencing, gardening and yard maintenance.
- Broad or long-fingered adult hands.
- Anyone who finds a Large glove tight across the palm.
- Not warm and not waterproof — for freezing mornings use the Woof Wear Winter Yard Glove, and for wet work the Woof Wear All Season Waterproof Yard Glove, which is dipped all over.
How to Use
- Order the size you normally wear in a work glove; the liner is thin.
- Rinse the palm clean under a tap and hang the glove up to dry.
- Do not dry on a heat source, as the latex hardens and cracks.
- Retire the pair when the coating splits and grip falls away.
