Red Gorilla Plas S1 Small Feed Skip 11L – Light Blue

This is the S1 skip in light blue — Red Gorilla's sky blue — a paler, softer shade than the standard blue and the one most often used on a yard to mark out water or a particular horse's feed among several identical skips.

The skip itself is 11 litres in a bowl 40cm wide and 13.5cm deep, moulded from Gorilla Plas: a food-safe LLDPE made with recycled plastics that Red Gorilla put up against the traditional tyre-rubber skip. It weighs roughly 60% less, does not absorb, and does not perish outside.

How to Use

• Stand it on level ground for feeding; the wide 40cm base is what stops it being nosed across the stable.
• Lift by both moulded handles and tip forward to empty rather than scraping it out.
• Rinse after every feed — the non-absorbent surface releases residue with water alone, without needing to be scrubbed.
• Stack skips inside one another to store, and keep them off the ground in a hard frost.
