Agrifence Easyline 3 Orange Polywire – 250m
The 250 metre reel of Agrifence's basic polywire: 2mm across, orange, with three conductive strands running through it. A quarter kilometre is about right for a couple of paddock divides or a strip grazing front that is moved down a field over a few weeks.
Buy this reel for the small, movable jobs. It is the lightest and cheapest conductor Agrifence make, it goes up and comes down quickly, and on a short line off a well-earthed energiser it does everything asked of it. It is not the wire for a boundary you intend to leave standing.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 3 conductive strands in 2mm polywire.
- 250m reel — a manageable size for one or two temporary lines.
- Orange for visibility while you are erecting and checking the line.
- Winds and unwinds easily on a standard fence reel.
- Cheapest way to add a temporary division to an existing fenced field.
Suitable For
- Paddock dividers and strip grazing fronts moved every few days.
- Isolating an animal or fencing off a wet patch for a short spell.
- Fences taken down and stored between seasons.
- Agrifence do not recommend Easyline 3 for perimeter fences or for use in poor conditions.
- If the run is longer than a paddock divide, Agrifence Easyline Super 6 at 2.5mm with six strands holds voltage noticeably better.
How to Use
- Thread through ring insulators on wooden posts or the eyes of plastic tread-ins.
- Tension by hand; polywire has some stretch and does not want winching up.
- Use a polywire connector at every join — knotted polywire does not conduct.
- Reel it back in rather than coiling it, and it will go up cleanly next time.
- Trim grass under the line, since a 3 strand wire loses voltage quickly to vegetation.
