The bulk bucket of Agrifence's economy woodscrew ring insulator: 120 of them in a re-sealable tub that stands up in the back of a truck without spilling. Each one screws straight into a wooden post and holds wire, rope or tape up to 12mm clear of the timber.

Buying by the bucket is what you do when the job is a field rather than a gateway. At 120 units it covers a substantial run of posts, and the tub is genuinely useful afterwards for carrying insulators, connectors and gate handles round the fence line.

How to Use

• Drive the screw into sound, dry timber until the ring stands clear of the post face.
• Stop as soon as it is firm — overtightening strips the plastic thread.
• Thread the conductor through the ring before tensioning the line.
• Reseal the bucket between sessions; the lid is what keeps the contents out of the mud.
• Replace any insulator that has cracked or gone chalky under UV.
