Agrifence Megatape G20 – Green 20mm x 200m
The G20 is the green 20mm roll in Agrifence's reinforced Megatape range, and it exists for the owner who wants a serious semi-permanent fence without a white line running across the view. The webbing carries reinforced edges and 0.25mm copper-infused wires, so the step up from Easytape is in the conductor as much as in the mesh.
Green tape is read differently by stock than white: it is less startling, and horses tend to settle beside it sooner. That makes it a sensible choice on an established boundary where the animals already know the fence and the priority is a line that lasts rather than one that shouts.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Green 20mm webbing on a 200m roll.
- Reinforced mesh and edges for a longer service life on a fixed line.
- Larger 0.25mm conductive wires, copper-infused for better conductivity.
- Rated by Agrifence for small to medium perimeter fences.
- Discreet against grass, hedging and woodland.
- Narrow enough to behave on an exposed boundary.
Suitable For
- Small to medium perimeter fences.
- Semi-permanent paddock boundaries on established grazing.
- Properties where a white tape would be visually intrusive.
- Longer runs that need the conductivity a copper-infused wire gives.
- Not the tape for a horse meeting electric fencing for the first time — white tape such as the Agrifence Megatape 20mm is easier for them to see.
How to Use
- Fit through 20mm tape insulators along the run.
- Join with a 20mm tape clamp; do not knot reinforced tape.
- Tension evenly and re-tension once the line has settled.
- Turn the energiser off before working on the fence.
- Check the voltage at the furthest post after installation.
