A feed formulated specifically for pet pigs rather than commercial ones, and the distinction matters more than it sounds. A commercial pig ration is designed to put weight on quickly, which is exactly wrong for a pot-bellied pig that will live for years and is prone to obesity and the heat stress that comes with it.

Protein sits at 12% with high fibre and low calories, so a pig can eat a satisfying volume without laying down fat. Yucca herb, FOS prebiotics and a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals cover the nutrition. It contains no animal by-products, fishmeal or gelatin-coated vitamins, and is free from artificial colours, flavours, growth promoters and antibiotics — GM free and Vegetarian Society approved.

Feeding
