Allen & Page Sheep Mix – 20kg

A maintenance mix for sheep from 5 weeks of age onwards, at 16% protein. It comes into its own when forage is short — a hard winter, a dry summer, or a flock on limited grazing — and for lambs being reared for breeding, where steady development matters more than finishing weight.

Cereals, pulses and high-fibre ingredients give balanced energy, and it is fortified with essential vitamins and minerals including magnesium at 0.35%. Approved by the Vegetarian Society and made with non-GM ingredients.

Feeding

• Feed as a maintenance ration according to flock size and forage availability.
• Always feed alongside forage, which should form the basis of the diet.
• Introduce gradually to reduce the risk of acidosis.
• Constant access to clean, fresh water.

Composition & Analysis

• Composition: barley, peas, wheat feed, linseed expeller, molasses, grass meal, calcium carbonate, maize, beans, soya bean expeller, full fat soya, salt, expelled soya oil, calcined magnesite, yeast, di-calcium phosphate. 20kg.
• Crude protein 16%. Crude oils and fats 4.5%. Crude fibre 7%. Crude ash 8%.
• Per kg: calcium 1.2%, sodium 0.4%, phosphorus 0.45%, magnesium 0.35%.

Care & Caution

• Formulated for sheep. Never feed cattle or goat rations to sheep, as their copper levels can be toxic.
• Introduce gradually and always alongside forage to reduce the risk of acidosis.
