Anco Premium Chicken Pâté – 200g

Anco's Premium Pâté is cooked in the tin and sets firm enough to slice, which is the difference between it and a wet food: it holds an edge, so it can be diced into training cubes or cut into a shape that jams inside a hollow toy. The chicken version reads 74% chicken meat, 15% liver and 10% heart, finished with 1% vitamins and minerals.

Because it is barely refined, a light layer of jelly or natural fat usually sits on top of the block. That is normal for this style of pâté and not a fault. The analysis is modest by design — 11.6% protein, 9.5% fat and 66.6% moisture.

Performance & Benefits
  • Single-protein chicken recipe: 74% meat, 15% liver, 10% heart, 1% vitamins and minerals.
  • Firm enough to slice, dice, grate or spread, unlike a mousse-textured wet food.
  • Anco's analysis: protein 11.6%, fat 9.5%, fibre 1.1%, ash 4%, moisture 66.6%.
  • Low fat at 9.5%, which keeps it usable for a dog watching its weight.
  • No grain, gluten, GMO ingredients, dairy or soya, and no added colourings, salt or sugar.
  • Made in the UK and EU.
<>
Suitable For
  • Fussy eaters who need a topper to finish a bowl of dry food.
  • Hiding a tablet a dog has learnt to spit out.
  • Lick mats, snuffle toys and stuffed hollow toys, including frozen.
  • Puppies from eight weeks of age.
  • Chicken is one of the commonest sensitivities in dogs — Anco Premium Goat Pâté 200g is the novel-protein version of the same product.
<>
Feeding
  • Feed as a complementary treat or reward, alongside a complete and balanced diet.
  • Anco state it is suitable for puppies from eight weeks of age.
  • Turn the block out and slice it; it cuts more cleanly straight from the fridge.
  • Refrigerate once opened, and use within the period printed on the pack.
  • Keep fresh drinking water available, and count the pâté within the day's food.
