Ancol Heritage Felicity Fox – 39cm

At 39cm Felicity is one of the larger Heritage toys, and the length is mostly tail and body — a shape dogs take to immediately, because there is an obvious end to grab and plenty of toy left to swing. Firm yet cuddly is the right description: she keeps her shape through a shaking session and still works as something to lie against afterwards.

Inside there is a squeaker and crinkle material, and the body carries several fabric textures. The stuffing is 100% recycled and she washes at 30°C. She is a comfort and carrying toy rather than a chew, and the muted Heritage colouring means she looks less obtrusive in a living room than most plush toys.

How to Use

• Give her for supervised carrying, cuddling and gentle squeaky play indoors.
• Machine wash at 30°C. Do not tumble dry; allow her to air dry fully before returning her to your dog.
• Check the seams, particularly along the tail, each time she comes out of the wash.
• Take her away at the first split rather than after it becomes a hole.

Care & Caution

• Not indestructible, and not a chew toy. Dogs should always be supervised during play.
• Check regularly for signs of wear and remove her immediately once the fabric is torn — stuffing, squeakers and crinkle film can all be swallowed and cause a blockage.
• Tails take the most punishment on a toy this shape. Inspect that seam first.
• Do not tumble dry, and make sure she is dry through before she goes back to the dog.
