Ancol Heritage Fergus Highland Cow – 39cm

Fergus stands 39cm tall, which makes him one of the biggest toys in Ancol's Heritage Collection and a proper armful for a dog to carry about. The shaggy Highland coat is the appeal for both parties: several fabric textures worked into one toy, with a fringe and horns that give a dog something distinct to take hold of.

He is firm yet cuddly, with a squeaker inside and 100% recycled stuffing, and he washes at 30°C. Like the rest of the Heritage range he is built for carrying, cuddling and gentle mouthing rather than for being chewed apart, so match him to the dog accordingly.

How to Use

• Give him for supervised carrying, cuddling and gentle squeaky play indoors.
• Machine wash at 30°C. Do not tumble dry; allow him to air dry fully before returning him to your dog.
• Comb the shaggy coat through with your fingers after washing so it does not dry matted.
• Check the horns and the fringe seams each time he comes out of the wash.

Care & Caution

• Not indestructible, and not a chew toy. Dogs should always be supervised during play.
• Check regularly for signs of wear and remove him immediately if he is damaged or if parts become detached — stuffing and squeakers can be swallowed and cause a blockage.
• Horns and any small stitched features are the parts a determined dog will work loose first. Watch them.
• Do not tumble dry, and make sure he is dry through before he goes back to the dog.
