Ancol Soho Sunflower & Yellow Check Reversible Harness – XS, 23–38cm

Two patterns, one harness: sunflowers on one face and the bright picnic-blanket yellow check on the other. This is the XS, adjustable from 23cm to 38cm around the chest, so it is aimed at toy breeds, small terriers and puppies rather than at anything with a barrel chest. Reversing it takes seconds and gives a genuinely different look, which is the whole point of the design.

It is cut from 100% recycled fabric, lightweight and weatherproof, and Ancol state four plastic bottles are kept out of landfill per harness. Both sides are yellow-dominant, so unlike the Dalmatian and Zigzag version there is no dark face to fall back on when the dog has been in a ditch.

How to Use

• Measure the chest just behind the front legs and confirm the figure sits inside 23–38cm.
• Choose the face you want showing, lay the harness flat and thread the straps the same way each time.
• Adjust for two fingers of clearance under each strap, clear of the armpits.
• Clip the lead to the harness ring, not to the collar.
• Ancol publish no washing instructions for this harness, so sponge clean and air dry rather than machine washing.

Care & Caution

• An XS is outgrown fast — re-measure a puppy every week or two.
• Bright yellow is not reflective. Ancol claim no reflective content, so add a light or a reflective collar for dark walks.
• Remove the harness indoors; fabric straps are not chew-proof.
• Check the straps are untwisted after reversing, and inspect the lead ring and stitching before each walk.
