Ancol Viva Adjustable Dog Collar – Red, 30–50cm (Size 2–5)

The fit on this collar is held by two parts rather than one. A quick-fit and release buckle joins it and carries the load, releasing under thumb pressure from either side; a sliding adjuster sets the length anywhere between 30cm and 50cm, and once it is pulled tight the webbing grips against itself and stays where it was put.

That matters more at this size than at the small one, because a 30–50cm neck usually belongs to a dog with enough weight and enough determination to work a loose collar back over its ears. Ancol call the range size 2–5 on their own numbering; the webbing here is poly-weave in red.

How to Use

• Measure the base of the neck with a soft tape, not the throat, and take the measurement over the dog's normal coat.
• Ancol run their own collar scale from 1 to 9: 1 is 20–26cm, 2 is 26–31cm, 3 is 28–36cm, 4 is 35–43cm, 5 is 39–48cm, 6 is 45–54cm, 7 is 50–59cm, 8 is 55–63cm and 9 is 59–68cm.
• "Size 2–5" simply names the sizes this one adjustable collar spans. The number that matters is Ancol's stated 30–50cm range.
• Set the length so two fingers lie flat between the webbing and the neck, which is Ancol's own check, then feed the tail back through the keeper.
• Pull the collar firmly against the slider once fitted, to be sure the webbing has bitten and will not creep.
• Machine wash at 30°C, no bleach, no tumble dryer, no radiator; dry fully before it goes back on.

Care & Caution
