Ancol describe the Yellow Check print as picnic-blanket inspired, and that is a fair description: a bright yellow ground broken by a fine check, on 100cm of 1.9cm webbing rated for dogs up to 50kg. It is the loudest of the Soho leads, and the most useful for that reason — a yellow lead dropped in long grass or left on a bench gets found again.

Like the rest of the range it is made in the UK from 100% recycled webbing, weather-resistant and washable at 30°C. A bright yellow lead will show dirt sooner than the black Zigzag, so the wash tolerance is doing real work here rather than sitting on the label.

How to Use

• Clip to a well-fitted collar or to a harness ring.
• Carry the slack across the palm rather than looped round the wrist.
