Ancol Soho Zigzag Collar – Small, 20–30cm

The Zigzag is the dark option in the Soho range: a black ground with hand-drawn pale pink zigzags running along it. This is the smallest of the three sizes, adjusting between 20cm and 30cm on webbing 1.5cm wide, which is the size that suits a dachshund, a Jack Russell, a small poodle cross or a puppy still growing into its adult collar.

A black ground is the practical choice here. Small dogs walk closer to the wet than tall ones do, and a dark webbing hides the mud line that shows up within a fortnight on anything pale. It is 100% recycled webbing, made in the UK, and washable at 30°C when it does need reviving.

How to Use

• Measure the neck with a soft tape and add space for two fingers underneath.
• Adjust the slider so the fitted length sits comfortably within 20–30cm.
• On a growing puppy, check the fit every few days rather than every few weeks.
• Machine wash at 30°C, never tumble dry, and air dry fully before refitting.

Care & Caution

• Do not tumble dry — heat shrinks and hardens the webbing.
• Small dogs slip collars easily. Check the fit after every wash, since webbing can move slightly.
• Remove the collar for crate time and unsupervised play to avoid snagging.
• Do not use a flat collar as a tether, and replace it if the buckle teeth wear round.
