Aqua Gel Water Storing Crystals – 200g

Dry crystals that swell into a gel when they are watered, mixed through compost at planting time. They hold surplus water and give it back as the compost dries, which is the difference between a hanging basket that survives a hot weekend and one that does not.

A 200g pack is enough for a season of baskets and containers in most gardens. It is not a substitute for watering — it buys time between waterings, particularly in small pots that dry out fast in wind and sun.

How to Use

• Do not add dry crystals to a pot that is already planted — they swell, and they can lift the compost.

Care & Caution

• The crystals swell many times over in water. Keep the pack away from children and pets — swallowed dry, the gel expands.
• Store the pack closed and dry. Loose crystals on a wet floor become slippery once they take up water.
• Mix them into the compost rather than leaving them sitting on the surface where pets and birds can reach them.
