Better Biome is Baileys' hindgut supplement and it works on three fronts at once: Digest Plus scFOS as the prebiotic, live Saccharomyces cerevisiae as the probiotic yeast, and inactivated yeast postbiotics — fermentation end-products the microbiome can use directly rather than having to manufacture.

It is a powder, fed by the scoop into a normal feed or onto soaked forage. Baileys declare 2,500 x 10⁹ CFU/kg of S. cerevisiae MUCL39885 in the tub, and at 20g a day for a pony or 40g for a horse a 1.5kg tub runs for 75 days or 38 days respectively.
