Wipes made for the outer ear and nothing deeper: the flap, the folds and the visible part of the canal opening, where wax and grime collect on drop-eared dogs. The cloth is the same bamboo-derived rayon Beco use across their wipe range, at 24% of the product against 76% lotion.

The lotion is where these differ from a general grooming wipe. Alongside aloe, chamomile and coconut oil, Beco include lactic acid and salicylic acid, which is why they work on build-up that a plain wipe just moves around. The coconut scent is light rather than perfumed.

How to Use

• Wrap a wipe round a finger and clean the visible folds of the outer ear
• Use a fresh wipe for the second ear so nothing is carried across
• Work outwards, lifting debris away rather than pushing it inwards
• Reseal the sticker and close the lid firmly after each use
• Dispose in general waste; Beco say do not flush

• Never push a wipe, a cotton bud or anything else into the ear canal — you can drive debris onto the eardrum
