This is the bottle to use on a dog that has rolled in something. It works differently from the fragranced shampoos: Buddycare put Saccharomyces ferment into it, a yeast-derived deodoriser that breaks down the compounds behind the smell rather than simply covering them.

The lavender is there for the dog as much as the owner, and it makes this a sensible choice for a bath before a car journey or a clip. Buddycare also state that the formula is free of aluminium-based ingredients, which is worth knowing if you have avoided human antiperspirant chemistry for the same reason.

How to Use

• Wet the coat right through with warm water.
• Lather and leave on the worst-affected areas for a minute or two so the ferment can work.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• Avoid the eyes; rinse with water on contact.
• Buddycare's dilution ratio for the concentrate is 20:1.
• Keep out of reach of children.
