Buddycare Dog Hydrating Detangling Spray – 200ml

A leave-in spray for coats that fight the brush. The working ingredients are PEG-12 dimethicone and cetrimonium chloride — a silicone and a conditioning quaternary — which together let the comb slide through a knot instead of dragging it out by the root.

Buddycare specify one or two sprays on the affected area, wet or dry, and then brushing straight through. It is deliberately light: a heavier product on a poodle or a doodle coat builds up and makes the matting worse within a fortnight.

How to Use

• Shake well before use.
• Spray once or twice directly onto the knot or tangle, not over the whole dog.
• Let it sit for a moment, then work the tangle out from the tip of the hair back towards the skin.
• Suitable on a wet coat after a bath, or on a dry coat between them.
• Keep the spray away from the eyes, nose and ears.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Care & Caution

• Keep the spray out of the eyes, nose and ears — Buddycare name all three.
• Cetrimonium chloride is a conditioning quaternary and will sting if it reaches the eye; rinse with clean water on contact.
• External use only. Do not use it on cats.
• Do not force a solid mat apart with a brush after spraying. A mat that has felted to the skin should be clipped out by a groomer or a vet.
• Keep out of reach of children.
