Canagan Chicken Hotpot Wet Dog Food – 400g
Chicken Hotpot is the vegetable version of Canagan's free-run chicken can: the same 65% freshly prepared chicken, but with carrots, peas and broccoli worked in where the plain recipe uses chicory and banana. The chunks are visible in the tin rather than pâtéd, which is usually what a dog is responding to.
Crude protein is 10.2% at 80% moisture, and crude ash sits at 3% — a shade higher than the plain chicken can at 2.3%. Green lipped mussel supplies glucosamine at 100 mg/kg, and the tin is complete and balanced rather than a complementary topper.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Freshly prepared free-run chicken 65%, in visible chunks.
- Carrots, peas and broccoli alongside sweet potato.
- Green lipped mussel as a source of glucosamine at 100 mg/kg.
- Crude protein 10.2%, crude fat 5.1%, moisture 80%.
- A botanical list running to yucca, rosehips, nettle, marigold and slippery elm.
- Complete and balanced, so it can be fed alone; the can is fully recyclable.
Suitable For
- Puppies and adults — Canagan label the dog cans For Puppies & Adults.
- Dogs that want vegetables visible in the food.
- Feeding as a whole meal, as a topper on kibble, or as a high-value reward.
- Dogs that have gone off dry food and need the smell of a wet meal.
- It is a single-meat chicken recipe, so it does not suit a dog off poultry — Canagan's Country Game can uses venison, duck and goose instead.
Feeding
