Canagan Free-Run Chicken Dry Dog Food – 2kg

This is the recipe the rest of the Canagan dry range is built around: free-range chicken at 26% freshly prepared and 26% dried, sweet potato and potato instead of cereal, and a short list of botanicals — marigold, cranberry, camomile, aniseed and fenugreek — rather than a long one of additives. Canagan declare 34% crude protein, 17% crude fat and 391 kcal per 100g.

2kg is the smallest bag Canagan make it in, which makes it the sensible one for a first try or for a small dog. At the 120g a 10kg dog needs for maintenance it lasts around sixteen days; at 80g for a 5kg dog, closer to twenty-five. If it suits, the 6kg and 12kg bags are the same recipe at a lower cost per day.

  • Puppies and adult dogs of any breed size — Canagan label it for all life stages.
  • Owners trying Canagan for the first time who do not want to commit to a large bag.
  • Dogs doing under an hour of exercise a day, and active dogs on the higher feeding rate.
  • Not a chicken-free or egg-free diet, and not suitable for an elimination trial — Canagan Scottish Salmon uses no poultry or egg at all.
