Feeding

• Adult maintenance under an hour of exercise: 80g at 5kg bodyweight, 120g at 10kg, 200g at 20kg, 290g at 30kg.
• Active adults over an hour a day: 100g at 5kg, 150g at 10kg, 240g at 20kg, 350g at 30kg.
• Puppies by expected adult weight: toy 1–5kg take 65–90g, small 5–10kg take 145–180g, medium 10–25kg take 215–255g, large 25–45kg take 375–430g.
• Feed it as the whole diet rather than as a topper — the PlaqueOff dose is set against the full daily ration.

Care & Caution

• Canagan state that this recipe is not recommended for dogs that are pregnant, lactating, or undergoing thyroid treatment. ProDen PlaqueOff is a seaweed and carries iodine, which is why.
• If your dog is on any thyroid medication, check with your vet before changing to it, and do not feed it alongside a separate iodine or kelp supplement.
• Established tartar will not come off by diet alone. A dog with inflamed gums or loose teeth needs a veterinary dental, and this food is a way of slowing what comes back afterwards.
