Canagan Puppy Free Range Chicken Dry Dog Food – 2kg

Canagan's puppy recipe runs the protein higher than any of their adult foods at 38%, from freshly prepared free-range chicken at 29% and dried chicken at 26%. Salmon oil supplies the DHA Canagan cite for brain development, and glucosamine and MSM are in at 820 mg/kg for joints that are still forming.

It is labelled from weaning to adult, so one bag carries a puppy from the litter through to the point where the adult ration takes over — around a year for a small dog and eighteen months for a large one. The 2kg bag is a fortnight for a 10kg-expected puppy at six months.

  • A 2kg bag for a small-breed puppy, or as a first bag before committing to 6kg.
  • Canagan publish no puppy portion above a 45kg expected adult weight, so giant-breed owners should take veterinary advice on growth rates rather than extrapolating from the table.
