Working Dog is Canagan's recipe for dogs in regular work, and unlike most of their range it is formulated for all life stages rather than for adults alone — so one bag covers a kennel of dogs at different ages. The 2kg bag is the trial size: enough to see whether a dog does well on it before committing to a larger sack.

Canagan's whole approach is grain free and built around a high inclusion of freshly prepared meat, with joint support included rather than sold separately. This is their working-dog version of that formula, sold as a working dog feed rather than as a pet food.

Feeding

• Feed to Canagan's own guide, which is printed on the bag and set by bodyweight.
• Split the daily amount across two meals and adjust to condition and workload.
• Feed the upper end of the guide in the working season and cut back out of it.
• Introduce it over about a week, mixing an increasing share into the current food.
• Fresh water available at all times.
