Carnilove Duck & Pheasant Adult Dry Dog Food – 1.5kg

This is the highest-protein dry food in the Carnilove range we list — 37% crude protein, built on duck meal at 30% and pheasant meal at 22% with a further 5% fresh duck on top. At 3,900 kcal/kg it is also the most energy-dense, so the daily portions are smaller than the figures on a supermarket bag would suggest.

The 1.5kg bag is the size to buy for a small dog, or to trial the recipe before committing to a sack. Read the full ingredient list before you do: chicken fat at 8% and chicken liver at 3% are both in there, so this is not a chicken-free food despite duck and pheasant being the only meats in the name.

Performance & Benefits
  • 37% crude protein and 18% fat, the richest dry recipe in this Carnilove selection.
  • 30% duck meal, 22% pheasant meal and 5% fresh duck.
  • 3,900 kcal/kg, so a 15kg dog needs only about 170g a day.
  • Glucosamine from hydrolysed crustacean shells and chondroitin from cartilage extract.
  • Thyme, rosemary and oregano, with apples, pumpkin and carrots making up the plant side.
  • 70% wild-origin meats and 30% forest fruits, vegetables and herbs. Grain-free and potato-free.
<>
Suitable For
  • Adult dogs of all breeds.
  • Small dogs and single-dog households, where 1.5kg is a sensible bag size.
  • Active dogs that need calories without volume.
  • Owners wanting a joint-support package built into the everyday food.
  • Not for a dog avoiding chicken — the recipe carries 8% chicken fat and 3% chicken liver. The Carnilove Grain Free Potato Free Salmon Adult Dog Food 1.5kg contains chicken fat too, so neither dry food suits a chicken-excluded dog.
