Carnilove Fresh Chicken & Rabbit Grain-Free Dry Dog Food – 12kg

The 12kg sack, and the only bulk bag in this Carnilove selection. It comes from the Fresh range, which means fresh chicken at 40% goes into the kibble rather than a dried meal — Carnilove's higher-specification line, and the reason the meat share here reaches 80% against 70% in the standard recipes.

Rabbit at 20% and duck at 10% sit behind the chicken, and the supporting cast is longer than anywhere else in the range: glucosamine, chondroitin, mannan-oligosaccharides from brewer's yeast, fructo-oligosaccharides from chicory root, yucca, algae, psyllium and five herbs. It runs at 35% protein and 3,820 kcal/kg.

Performance & Benefits
  • 80% wild-origin meats — 40% fresh chicken, 20% dried rabbit and 10% dried duck.
  • 35% crude protein and 18% crude fat, with declared EPA at 0.08% and DHA at 0.1%.
  • Glucosamine from hydrolysed crustacean shells and chondroitin from cartilage extract.
  • Prebiotic package of brewer's yeast and chicory root, plus yucca schidigera and psyllium.
  • 3,820 kcal/kg, so a 30kg dog eats about 280g a day.
  • 12kg bag — the most economical format in the range, grain-free and potato-free.
<>
Suitable For
  • Adult dogs of all breeds.
  • Multi-dog households and large breeds, where a 12kg sack earns its keep.
  • Dogs that do well on chicken and need a high fresh-meat inclusion.
  • Dogs whose joints warrant the built-in glucosamine and chondroitin.
  • Not for a dog avoiding chicken, duck or shellfish — all three are in the recipe. The Carnilove Duck & Pheasant Adult Dry Dog Food 1.5kg still carries chicken fat and liver, so it is no alternative on that count.
