Carnilove Turkey with Venison Fillet Jerky Dog Treats – 100g
Dried meat fillets at 90% meat ingredients: turkey makes up 85% of the recipe and venison 5%, with blackcurrant at 0.5% and nothing else beyond vegetable glycerine and salt. The ingredient list runs to five items, which is rather the point of it.
Carnilove have since discontinued this recipe in favour of the Turkey & Venison jerky, which shifts the balance to 64% turkey and 26% venison and adds collagen. If it is the turkey-led version your dog has settled on, this is that one — and at 4,130 kcal/kg it is the richest snack Carnilove make.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 90% meat ingredients — turkey at 85% with venison fillet at 5%.
- Crude protein 29.0% and crude fat 28.0%, so a small piece carries a lot.
- Blackcurrant at 0.5%, with rosemary extract and tocopherols as the only preservatives.
- No chicken, no cereal, no potato and no added colourants.
- Soft-dried fillets that tear by hand into training-sized pieces.
Suitable For
- Adult dogs of all breeds, as a complementary snack.
- Dogs that need a meat reward with no chicken in it.
- Reward work where one small piece is enough to pay the dog.
- Not a complete food and too rich to hand out freely — for everyday feeding the Carnilove Active Lamb & Wild Boar dry dog food covers the same no-chicken ground.
Feeding
- Carnilove's guide runs from about a third of a fillet a day for a 5kg dog up to 5 fillets for a 90kg dog.
- Serve as a reward during the day rather than as part of a meal.
- Take the calories off the main ration — 4,130 kcal/kg is roughly a third denser than a baked treat.
- Fresh drinking water alongside.
Composition & Analysis
- Composition: turkey 85%, venison 5%, glycerine of vegetable origin, blackcurrant 0.5%, sodium chloride.

Care & Caution
- Whole dried fillets are a choking risk for a dog that bolts its food. Tear them down for small or greedy dogs rather than handing over a full one.
- Very energy dense at 4,130 kcal/kg — easy to overfeed a small dog without noticing.
