Belvoir Tack Conditioner is Step 2 of Carr & Day & Martin's two-stage tack routine, made to the original recipe around glycerine and coconut oil. The glycerine fills and seals the pores in the leather, forming a barrier against salt, dirt, grease and water, and it dries to a shine rather than the greasy film a heavy dressing leaves behind.

This is the 500ml aluminium-bottle presentation. The conditioner itself is pure and clear, so it feeds finished leather without darkening it — useful on a saddle you want to keep the colour it left the factory in. How to Use

• Clean the leather first with Belvoir Step 1 Tack Cleaner.

• Rub in gently with a cloth or sponge.
