Carr & Day & Martin Stain Master – 500ml
Stain Master is the no-rinse answer to the stain you find twenty minutes before the class. Carr & Day & Martin built it to lift green spots, stable stains and manure marks off the coat without a bucket, a hose or any rinsing afterwards — you spray, work it with a damp sponge, wipe and the mark has gone.
That makes it two products in practice. On a show morning it is an on-the-spot brightener for white markings and socks; in mid-winter it is a dry shampoo for the days when it is far too cold to bath a horse properly. It is a spot treatment rather than a wash, so 500ml goes a long way — it is not meant to cover a whole horse.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Removes green spots and stable stains with no need to rinse.
- Lifts dirt and manure stains, including the yellowing that sits on grey coats.
- Works as an on-the-spot brightener for white markings and socks.
- Doubles as a dry shampoo when it is too cold to bath.
- Results are immediate — no soaking or contact time to wait out.
- Trigger spray for the body, and it can be applied by cloth for the face.
Suitable For
- Last-minute show and competition touch-ups.
- Grey, skewbald and piebald horses, and any horse with white socks.
- Winter, when bathing is not an option.
- Manure and bedding stains found the morning after.
- Not a substitute for a proper wash on a genuinely filthy horse — for ingrained all-over staining, Gallop Stain Removing Shampoo is the one that does the heavy lifting.
How to Use
- Spray directly onto the stain on the body.
- For the face, apply to a cloth first and work from the cloth rather than spraying at the head.
- Massage with a damp sponge or cloth.
- Wipe off. The result is immediate and there is nothing to rinse.
- Repeat on a stubborn mark rather than scrubbing harder.
Specification
- 500ml trigger spray bottle.
- No-rinse coat stain remover, also usable as a dry shampoo.
- Spot treatment rather than a whole-body wash.
- Carr & Day & Martin do not publish a pack size list for Stain Master on their own product page.
- No ingredient list is published by Carr & Day & Martin for Stain Master, so none is given here.
Care & Caution
- Do not spray towards the head. Carr & Day & Martin's own direction is to apply to the face area with a cloth, and that is to keep it out of the eyes.
- Because nothing is rinsed off, do not use it on the saddle or girth area before riding.
- Test on a small patch on a dark or dyed coat before working across a large area.
