Chappie Complete Dry Dog Food – Beef & Wholegrain, 15kg

The dry Chappie is the same idea as the tins in a different format: a plain cereal-and-wholegrain kibble with beef, sold in a 15kg sack. It is the size to buy when Chappie is the everyday food for a medium or large dog, and a sealed bin of kibble takes up far less room than the equivalent weight in tins.

Being a complete food it needs nothing added. A common way to feed it is as the base of the ration with a tin of Chappie Original spooned over the top, which keeps everything in one brand and avoids the upset that often comes of mixing two unrelated foods.

Performance & Benefits
  • A complete dry food for adult dogs, requiring no mixer.
  • Crunchy extruded kibble, which is far easier to portion accurately than wet food.
  • Beef and wholegrain recipe — the dry counterpart to Chappie's tinned range.
  • 15kg sack, the economical size for a medium or large dog fed dry every day.
  • Stores well in a sealed bin, unlike an opened tin.
  • Mixes cleanly with the Chappie wet tins for anyone feeding both.
<>
Suitable For
  • Adult dogs on a straightforward, budget-conscious dry diet.
  • Households already feeding Chappie wet and wanting the same brand dry.
  • Medium and large dogs that will work through 15kg while it is still fresh.
  • Feeding as a base ration with a wet topper over it.
  • Not a puppy, senior or veterinary diet, and not the sack to buy for one small dog — 15kg will go stale long before a toy breed finishes it.
<>
Feeding
  • Feed to the chart printed on the sack, by the dog's weight and activity level.
  • Two meals a day suits most adult dogs.
  • Feed dry, or add warm water and let it stand if your dog prefers it softened.
  • Change over from another food across about five days.
  • Keep the sack sealed and the kibble dry, with fresh water available at all times.

Composition & Analysis
  • There is no Chappie manufacturer website to check against — chappie.co.uk is a parked domain offered for sale — so the composition, analytical constituents and additive panel are not quoted here.
  • All three are printed on the sack, and those are the declarations to rely on.
  • 15kg sack. Barcode 5000166144780.
  • No figure on this page has been taken from a retailer listing.
