A pure alfalfa fibre feed delivering 11.5 MJ/kg of digestible energy from fibre and oil — comparable to a medium energy mix or cube, but with minimal starch and sugar. That combination is the point of the product: it lets a horse in work be fed properly without the cereal starch that causes so much trouble.

Naturally low in sugar at 4.5% and starch at 2%, roughly half the sugar of average hay, with no added sugar or molasses. It is approved by The Laminitis Trust, which makes it one of the few feeds carrying real energy that a laminitic-prone horse can safely have. Real mint, fenugreek and alfalfa pellets are included for taste, which matters because unmolassed alfalfa can otherwise be refused by fussy feeders.
