A low-calorie, low-starch and low-sugar fibre feed at 8.5 MJ/kg, formulated for leisure horses and ponies and for those prone to laminitis, EMS or PPID. Sugar sits at 2.5% and starch at 1.5% — roughly one-fifth of the sugar found in average hay, which is what makes it safe for a horse whose forage you cannot easily control.

Free from molasses and preservatives, it reduces the risk of sugar-induced excitability or a laminitis flare. The blend of alfalfa, soft cereal straw and alfalfa pellets is lifted with mint and fenugreek to keep fussy eaters interested, and a light rapeseed oil coating gives slow-release energy and natural coat shine. It can be used alongside forage or as a partial forage replacer.

Care & Caution
