Equine America Airways Solution – 500ml

A liquid respiratory supplement built on plant-derived essential oils, at 195mg of eucalyptus oil, 195mg of peppermint oil and 105mg of menthol in each 15ml dose, carried on honey and apple cider vinegar. Stabled or out, a horse breathes in fungal spores, dust and pollen all year, and this is aimed at the everyday consequence of that rather than at anything clinical.

The liquid format is the practical difference. A powder has to be eaten to work, which is a problem with a fussy horse; this can be mixed into feed or syringed straight into the mouth, which also gets it working faster. It is BETA NOPS and UFAS assured, so it can be fed to a horse competing under FEI rules or the Rules of Racing.

Feeding

• For a 500kg horse: 15ml per day, which is the maximum rate.
• A 500ml bottle gives approximately 33 days at that rate.
• Mix into the daily feed, or syringe directly into the mouth.
• Shake before use and replace the cap.
