Equine America Cortaflex HA Regular Strength Powder – 500g

Cortaflex HA Regular Strength Powder is the maintenance-level version of Equine America's long-running joint range, built around marine collagen, hyaluronic acid and MSM rather than glucosamine. The 500g tub is the middle of four sizes and runs to about seventy days once the horse drops to the 7g maintenance scoop.

The formula is deliberately low in sugar, which is why Equine America put it forward for laminitis-prone horses and ponies where a dextrose-carried joint supplement would be a problem. It is pitched at light to moderate work and at older horses who need a little help staying loose, not at a horse in hard competition work.

Feeding

• For a 500kg horse: 14g per day for the first ten days, then 7g per day.
• Maximum 14g per day. A 7g measure is enclosed.
• At the 7g maintenance rate this 500g tub lasts roughly seventy days.
• Fed at the recommended level the product carries controlled levels of MSM, a threshold substance under the Rules of Racing.
