The same gentle drying process applied to timothy grass rather than ryegrass. Timothy has a coarser, stalkier structure and a subtly different flavour, which is the point of having it as a separate product — variety keeps a small animal interested in its forage rather than picking at it.

It is made from 100% timothy grass with no additives, high in fibre, and highly palatable even to the fussiest feeders. Timothy is also the grass most often recommended for small herbivores, being lower in calcium than alfalfa-based forages.
