Wine is the warmest of the four colours Gor Pets put on the Outdoor Crate Mat, and it suits a mat that spends as much time in a kitchen or hallway as it does in the back of a car. Underneath the colour it is the same UK-made construction: a 5cm bonded fibre pad in a removable, water-resistant cover.

This is the Large, 91 × 61cm, which fills the base of a standard large crate. The deep colour is more forgiving of tea-stain marks and general wear than a pale mat, without going as dark as the black version.

How to Use

• Lay the mat flat in the crate, non-slip face down. It needs no straps or fixings.
• Between washes, wipe the cover down with a damp cloth — the water-resistant finish takes this well.
• Unzip and remove the cover before washing, and wash the cover on its own at 40°C.
• Do not machine wash the bonded fibre pad. Let the cover dry fully before refitting it.
• Measure the base of your crate before ordering; Gor Pets cut these mats to standard crate footprints.
