Gorilla Tub Small 14L – Yellow

Fourteen litres in a deep, flexible body 24cm tall, 32cm across the rim and 25cm across the base. The Small Gorilla Tub is moulded in one piece of food-grade LDPE and is as much a workshop and garden tub as a feed one — small batches of plaster, a load of weeds, a set of tools out to the far end of a field.

Yellow is worth a specific note. Red Gorilla state that all Gorilla Tubs are BPA free with the exception of black, green and yellow, so this tub sits outside that claim while remaining food-grade LDPE. If BPA-free is the reason you are buying, one of the other eight colours is the one to pick; if the tub is for tools, mortar or garden waste, it makes no difference.

How to Use

• Lift by both golf-ball handles when it is full; the sides flex, so a one-handed carry lets the load swing.
• Rinse out between a hard feed and a water fill — the same tub does both, but not at once.
• Wash in warm water with a mild detergent. The interior is smooth, so there is nothing for feed to lodge in.
• If water freezes in it, flex the sides and knock the ice out rather than chipping at it.
• Store it upturned or nested inside another tub so it does not fill with rain.

Care & Caution

• Red Gorilla state that all Gorilla Tubs are BPA free with the exception of black, green and yellow. This yellow tub is therefore outside that statement, and if a BPA-free tub is what you need for feed or drinking water you should choose a different colour.
• The material is still food-grade LDPE; the exception is specifically about BPA, not about food-grade status.
