This is the bulk pouch of GWF's Joint Aid for Dogs, the same 2mm pellet as the 250g and 500g packs in the size that makes daily feeding affordable. GWF build the product around 32 active nutraceuticals and the Oatinol Delivery System, their oil-based carrier, and position it as support for cartilage, tendons, ligaments, synovial fluid and muscle rather than as a single-ingredient glucosamine top-up.

At 2kg it is aimed at a large breed fed year-round, or at a household running two or three dogs on the same supplement. It is a lot of product to have open, which matters for storage more than most supplements — see the caution below.

Feeding

• Mix into the normal daily feed, once a day, ongoing rather than in courses.
• Reseal the pouch after every feed and keep it dry.

• GWF do not publish a daily measure for Joint Aid for Dogs on their website. Use the feeding rate by bodyweight printed on the pouch.

• GWF name the Oatinol Delivery System, an oil-based carrier, as the vehicle for the actives, and describe the product as a complementary feed for dogs in 2mm pellet form.
• Glucosamine, MSM and hyaluronic acid percentages appear on third-party listings for this product; GWF do not publish them for the dog formula, so they are not repeated here.

Care & Caution

• A 2kg pouch holds many months of supplement. GWF's own guidance warns that a dog that gets into a supplement pack can overdose badly, and cites liver and kidney damage from over-supplementation — store it shut, high up and out of reach, not beside the feed bin.
• Do not feed a second glucosamine or manganese-containing joint product alongside it without veterinary advice; GWF flag manganese interactions in particular.
• A complementary feed, not a medicine. Lameness and pain need a vet, not a bigger scoop.
