Henry Bell Suet Berry Bites – 2kg

Suet Berry Bites are small suet pellets with raisins and rowan berries worked through them. The fruit is what pulls in blackbirds, song thrushes and dunnocks — birds that will walk past a seed feeder without a second look. At 2kg this is the size to buy if pellets are a fixture in your garden rather than an occasional treat.

The pellets are small enough for lighter birds to swallow whole, so very little is dropped and wasted underneath. They go in a suet pellet feeder, on a bird table, or straight onto the ground, which is where the thrushes and blackbirds will want them.

Performance & Benefits
  • High-fat suet pellets carrying raisins and rowan berries.
  • Small pellet size, easy for smaller birds to take whole, with little waste beneath the feeder.
  • Feeds from a suet pellet feeder, a bird table or the ground.
  • Useful all year, and hardest-working in cold weather and through the breeding season.
  • 2kg bag — a season's feeding for one pellet feeder rather than a top-up.
<>
Suitable For
  • Song thrush, blackbird, robin, dunnock and starling, which take fruit readily.
  • Blue tit, great tit, coal tit, long-tailed tit, chaffinch, bullfinch, goldfinch, greenfinch, siskin and tree sparrow.
  • Ground and table feeding as much as hanging feeders.
  • Gardens feeding pellets continuously through the winter.
  • Not the choice if you want insect-eaters specifically — Henry Bell Suet Mealworm Bites carry dried mealworm for that.
<>
Feeding
  • Fill a suet pellet feeder, scatter on a bird table, or put a handful on the ground for thrushes and blackbirds.
  • In mild weather put out only what is taken in a day or two, since the fat softens.
  • Keep fresh water available for drinking and bathing alongside the food.
  • Made for feeding wild birds only. Not for human consumption.
  • Contains nuts and is packed in an environment where nuts are present.
