Henry Bell Suet Berry Bites – 500g
This is the 500g bag of Henry Bell's Suet Berry Bites — two or three fills of a standard pellet feeder, which makes it the sensible size for trying suet pellets for the first time or for keeping a second feeder topped up. The pellets carry raisins and rowan berries, and it is the fruit that brings blackbirds, song thrushes and dunnocks in.
Half a kilo will not carry a garden through a hard winter on its own. Treat it as a trial bag or a stopgap: if pellets become the mainstay of your feeding, the 2kg bag costs considerably less per kilo and saves reordering in January.
<>Performance & Benefits
- High-fat suet pellets with raisins and rowan berries through them.
- 500g bag — enough to fill a standard pellet feeder two or three times.
- Small pellets that lighter birds can take whole, with little dropped waste.
- Feeds from a pellet feeder, a bird table or the ground.
- Resealable bag, so an opened pack keeps in a cupboard rather than a shed.
Suitable For
- Song thrush, blackbird, robin, dunnock and starling, which take fruit readily.
- Blue tit, great tit, coal tit, long-tailed tit, chaffinch, bullfinch, goldfinch, greenfinch, siskin and tree sparrow.
- First-time suet feeders working out whether their garden takes pellets.
- A second feeder, or a bird table topped up by hand.
- Not enough for a garden feeding pellets daily through winter — Henry Bell Suet Berry Bites 2kg is the size for that.
Feeding
- Fill a suet pellet feeder, scatter on a bird table, or put a handful on the ground.
- Put out small amounts at first and see what is taken before committing to a routine.
- Keep fresh water available for drinking and bathing alongside the food.
- Made for feeding wild birds only. Not for human consumption.
- Contains nuts and is packed in an environment where nuts are present.
Composition & Analysis
- Composition as declared by Henry Bell: cereals, suet, seeds, peanut flour, calcium, raisins, rowan berries.
