Homefire Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs – Large Bag, 20kg

Birch hardwood logs kiln-dried to below 20% moisture and Ready to Burn certified. The moisture figure is the one that matters: wet wood wastes most of its energy boiling off water, smokes heavily and tars up a flue, whereas kiln-dried logs burn hot and clean straight from the bag with no seasoning required.

Birch gives a high-temperature burn with a long, natural flame — the reason it is favoured for stoves and pizza ovens where you want heat quickly. The timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests, and the bag holds roughly 58 to 60 litres of loose volume.
