Kiln-dried hardwood kindling taken down to below 12% moisture — considerably drier than the 20% that counts as seasoned firewood. That extra dryness is why it catches immediately rather than needing coaxing, and why four to six sticks are enough to start a fire that would otherwise take a handful more.

Ready to Burn certified and sustainably sourced with no added chemicals, it will start any wood, coal or solid fuel fire. It comes in a weatherproof polythene bag, which matters for kindling stored in a shed or porch where damp would otherwise undo the drying.
